São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Zhangshu City is located in the central part of Jiangxi Province in China, belonging to Yichun City, and is situated in the middle reaches of the Gan River, and is known as the "Medicine Capital, Wine Country and Salt City". As a cultural city with a long history, Zhangshu has a history of more than 1,800 years since the establishment of the county in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is one of the four major medicine capitals in China, and organizes the National Medicinal Materials and Pharmaceuticals Trade Fair every year, with a profound culture of traditional Chinese medicine.
Economically, Zhangshu is supported by the pharmaceutical industry, with famous enterprises such as Renhe Pharmaceuticals, as well as well-developed salt chemical and liquor brewing (such as Zhangshu Siete liquor) industries. The city's transportation is convenient, with the Zhegan Railway and the Hukun Expressway passing through the city, and the Changbei Airport in Nanchang is about an hour's drive away. Tourism resources include the Geji Mountain Taoist shrine and the Wucheng Shang Dynasty ruins, blending natural and humanistic landscapes. Zhangshu is continuing to promote industrial upgrading and is committed to building a modernized Chinese medicine and green industrial city.
