São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Yuhuatai District is located in the southern part of the main city of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and is an important part of the central city of Nanjing, with Qinhuai District in the east, Jiangning District in the south, Pukou District in the west, and Gulou District in the north, covering a total area of about 132 square kilometers. As a famous "red shrine" in Nanjing, Yuhuatai Martyrs' Mausoleum is located here, where nearly 100 revolutionary martyrs are buried, and is a national key cultural relics protection unit and a national patriotic education demonstration base, carrying a heavy revolutionary history and spiritual heritage. In addition to the red culture, Yuhuatai is famous for its "Yuhua Stone", a natural pebble with variegated textures and brilliant colors, which is known as the "Heavenly National Treasure" and is a unique cultural symbol of Nanjing. The area is also home to natural and humanistic landscapes such as the Yuhuatai Scenic Area and the Juhuatai Park, which are both historically rich and modern, making it an important area for the integration of culture and tourism in Nanjing.
