São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Xuanhua, located in the southeast of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is a national famous historical and cultural city, known as "the first capital of western Beijing". It was once an important acropolis of the Great Wall defense line in the Ming Dynasty, with a prominent military status, and the longest Ming Dynasty ancient city wall (12 kilometers in circumference) and the "Three Buildings" of Qingyuan Building, Zhenshuo Building and Gongji Building exist in the country, of which Qingyuan Building is the tallest surviving wooden drum tower in the country. As the "City of Grapes", Xuanhua White Milk Grapes is a national geographic indications product with a cultivation history of over 1300 years. The ancient city integrates the multi-ethnic cultures of Liao, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and traditional temple fairs, paper-cutting, social fires and other non-heritage cultures have been passed down to the present day. Nowadays, Xuanhua is an important node of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, retaining the thousand-year charm of the "Shanggu County", but also revitalized in the new era.
