São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Huangshi City, Hubei Province, China, Xisai Mountain is a famous scenic spot in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River as well as a famous mountain in history and culture. The 176.5-meter-high mountain is famous for the military fortress set up by Wu during the Three Kingdoms period, and the poem "White Herons Flying in Front of Xisai Mountain" by Zhang Zhihe, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, has made it a popular place for writers and writers to sing about.
Xisai Mountain has historical relics such as ancient battlefield ruins, cliff stone carvings and Peach Blossom Cave, and is a blend of military culture, poetry culture and Buddhist culture. As a national AAA-level tourist attraction, its precipitous terrain and the scenery of the Yangtze River have become an important tourist card of Huangshi City and an important node of the Yangtze River Cultural Tourism Belt.
