São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the southeast of Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, Xinqiu District is one of the core urban areas of Fuxin City, and is situated in the border zone between western Liaoning and eastern Inner Mongolia, with significant location advantages. Historically, Xinqiu has prospered due to coal, and is an important coal industrial base in China with a hundred years of mining history, which has made important contributions to the energy security of the country. In recent years, Xinqiu actively promotes the transformation of resource-oriented cities, focusing on the development of new energy, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing and other emerging industries, while simultaneously promoting ecological restoration to create a "photovoltaic + agriculture" and other green industry models. Convenient transportation in the region, close to Fuxin Airport, national highways and railroads throughout the territory, providing support for industrial development. Nowadays, Xinqiu is leaping from "Black Coal City" to "Green Smart City", with both industrial heritage and innovative vitality, and is a typical representative of the transformation and development of western Liaoning.
