São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the south-central part of Hebei Province, China, Xinji is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province and is administered by the city of Shijiazhuang. It is located in the North China Plain, with an excellent geographical location and convenient transportation, about 65 kilometers from the provincial capital of Shijiazhuang. Xinji has a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, and was once an important trading and military town in ancient times. The city is famous for its leather industry and is known as the "Leather Capital of China", exporting leather products to many countries around the world. In addition, Xinji is also known for its agriculture, and is the famous "Hometown of Duck Pear", producing high quality fruits. The economy is mainly industrial, covering leather, chemical, machinery and other industries, while emphasizing cultural education and tourism development, with a number of historical sites and natural attractions.
