São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Xingye County is located in the southeastern part of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, under Yulin City, and is situated in the hilly area of southeastern Guangxi, with a total area of about 1,486 square kilometers. With a long history, the county was established in 1997 with the approval of the State Council, and is an important agricultural and populous county in Guangxi with a resident population of about 600,000 people. With agriculture as the leading industry, Xingye County is rich in rice, fruits and livestock products, while actively developing building materials, food processing and other industries. The transportation is convenient, with the Lizhan Railway and the Guangkun Expressway passing through the county, connecting the surrounding economic centers. The local culture is profound, with unique Hakka folklore and traditional festivals. Tourism resources include natural landscapes such as Longquanyan and Lufeng Mountain, making it an ideal destination for experiencing Guangxi's countryside and eco-tourism.
