São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, China, Xingren City is a county-level city in Guizhou Province, situated on the slope of the transition from the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to the Guangxi hills. The city is characterized by multi-ethnic settlement, with rich cultures of the Buyi, Miao and other ethnic minorities, and unique folk traditions and festivals.
Xingren City is rich in natural resources and has large coal reserves, making it one of the important energy bases in Guizhou. The climate is subtropical monsoon climate, suitable for agricultural development, producing Job's tears, tea and other crops, known as "China's Job's tears hometown".
In recent years, Xingren has been actively developing specialty industries and tourism, focusing on the deep processing of Job's tear grains and ethnic culture tourism. Attractions such as Fangmaping Alpine Grassland and Leiyuiba Miao Village attract tourists to experience the natural scenery and ethnic culture. The transportation is convenient, connecting to neighboring areas through the highway network.
