São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Xinfu District is the core urban area of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, China, located in the western part of Fushun City, and is the political, economic and cultural center of the city. As an important part of the old industrial base, Xinfu District was historically known for its coal resources, which supported the development of Fushun's "coal capital". Today, the district is undergoing an active transformation, focusing on services and commerce, with several shopping centers and transportation hubs. With an area of about 108 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000, the district enjoys a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Attractions such as the former site of the Fushun War Criminals Administration and Labor Park reflect its historical and natural features. Xinfu District is conveniently connected to major cities in Liaoning Province through the Shenfu Expressway and railroad network.
