São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the eastern part of the Jianghan Plain, and is the only sub-provincial city in the central region, known as the "thoroughfare of nine provinces". This city, where the Yangtze River meets the Han River, was born from water and flourished according to the river, and has been an important inland transportation hub and trade center in China since ancient times. With a long history, Wuhan was once an important birthplace of the Chu culture, and in modern times, as the first place of China's democratic revolution (Wuchang Uprising in 1911), it occupies an important position in the course of China's history. Nowadays, Wuhan is the core city of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, with the booming high-tech industry represented by the "Optics Valley" (Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone), and rich resources in science and education, with famous universities such as Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. At the same time, Wuhan is a modern international metropolis and a cultural city with a rich cultural heritage, with landmarks and delicacies such as the Yellow Crane Tower, East Lake, Tobu Lane, and Hot Noodles, highlighting its unique urban charm.
