São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Vawkavysk is a historic city in the Grodno Region of Belarus, located in the western part of the country near the Polish border, and is one of the most important transportation nodes connecting Belarus with Western Europe. First documented in 1005, the city has a thousand-year history and is a blend of Eastern and Central European cultures, with 19th-century architecture and Orthodox churches still preserved in the old town. As a regional economic center, the city has a strong focus on machine building, food processing and agriculture, and is surrounded by beautiful nature, with the Neman River flowing through the outskirts of the city, adding to the city's dynamic natural atmosphere. Although not the capital, Vavkavisk is a cultural and economic center of Western Belarus with its rich history and unique location.
