São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the southernmost part of the Republic of Montenegro, Ulcinj is a famous seaside city on the Adriatic coast. The city is famous for its 13-kilometer long beach, the longest in Montenegro, which attracts many sun and sea lovers.
With a history of 2,500 years and ruled by Illyrians, Romans, Venetians and Ottomans, the old town of Ulcinj is characterized by the preservation of the Venetian style castle and Ottoman architecture. The unique blend of cultures makes it one of the most oriental cities in Montenegro.
In addition to the historical monuments, Ulcinj also boasts natural attractions such as the Lake Skudai National Park and the Bojana River. It is not only an important salt producer in Montenegro, but also a popular destination for water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, and is known as the "kitesurfing capital of Montenegro".
