São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Tianhe District, Guangdong, China is the core city of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, located on the east bank of the Pearl River, and is the economic, financial, technological and cultural center of South China. As the city living room of Guangzhou, Tianhe gathers landmarks such as Zhujiang New City, Guangzhou Tower (Xiaobanwai), Guangzhou International Finance Center, etc. It is home to the Chinese headquarters of many Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions and high-tech enterprises, and has formed an industrial system dominated by modern service industry. With a well-developed transportation network, many lines such as Metro Line 3 and Line 5 running through it, and hubs such as Baiyun International Airport and Guangzhou South Railway Station close at hand, it is an important node connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to the Greater Bay Area. Tianhe District is not only known for its thriving economy, but also for its blend of urban prosperity and ecological livability, with green spaces such as Tianhe Park and Furnace Mountain Forest Park, which is a window showing the charm of modern Guangzhou.
