São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Dhankuta, the capital of Koshi province in eastern Nepal, is located in the hilly region of the southern foothills of the Himalayas, at an altitude of about 1,146 meters above sea level, and enjoys a pleasant climate with a relatively small temperature difference throughout the year. As the core city of the eastern mountainous region, it is not only the administrative center, but also an important transportation hub and economic node connecting the rural areas of eastern Nepal with the outside world. The area is predominantly agricultural, producing specialty products such as tea, citrus and honey, with Dagogod tea being famous for its unique mountain flavor. Scattered around the city are ethnic minority villages such as Tamang and Limbu, which have preserved traditional folk culture and handicrafts, attracting tourists interested in cultural experiences. Despite its small size, Dagogod's leisurely pace of life and natural beauty make it a window into life in the mountains of eastern Nepal.
