São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Taibai County is located in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, in the hinterland of the Qinling Mountains, named after the main peak of the Qinling Mountains in its territory, Taibai Mountain, known as the "heart of the Qinling Mountains". With an average elevation of more than 1,000 meters and a forest coverage rate of more than 90%, it is the core area of the Great Qinling Ecological Barrier. Taibai Mountain National Forest Park is located here, the Grand Master Sea, Baxiantai and other glacial relics and primitive forests, forming a unique alpine landscape, known as "China's Natural Oxygen Bar". The county is rich in biodiversity, and is the habitat of pandas, golden monkeys and other nationally protected animals. It is also rich in mountain treasures such as taiwanese shells, shiitake mushrooms and fungus, making it an ideal place for eco-tourism and recreational vacations.
