São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the central part of Shandong Province, Tai'an is named after the saying "If Mount Tai is at peace, then all the seas are at peace", and is home to the famous Mount Tai, the first of the Five Mountains. This historical and cultural city has been a sacred place for emperors and kings since ancient times, and is rich in natural and humanistic landscapes. As a world cultural and natural heritage, Mount Tai attracts tourists from all over the world with its majestic "Five Mountains", and the surrounding monuments such as Dai Temple and Bixia Ancestral Hall bear witness to the profound heritage of Chinese civilization. Tai'an has not only created a unique tourism business card with Mount Tai as its core, but has also become a regional tourism hub with its convenient transportation network (Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and Beijing-Taiwan high-speed railway). The city is a blend of natural wonders and historical deposits, and is both a paradise for mountaineers and a destination for cultural explorers, attracting millions of tourists every year to experience the magnificence and grandeur of "climbing Mount Tai and seeing the world in a small way".
