São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Sulaibiya is a major industrial zone and urban area in the State of Kuwait, located south of the capital city of Kuwait City. Known for its large industrial facilities and logistics centers, the area is a key part of Kuwait's economic diversification. With refineries, petrochemical plants and warehousing facilities, Sulaibiya supports the country's energy exports and local supply chain.
As part of Kuwait's urbanization process, Sulaibiya has excellent infrastructure and easy access to major highways. Although predominantly industrial, the region also offers basic residential services, but with a relatively pragmatic living atmosphere. Its development reflects Kuwait's strategy to reduce oil dependence and promote industrial growth.
Overall, Sulaibiya plays a central role in Kuwait's economic and industrial landscape and is an important window into the country's modernization and resource management.
