São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Shijiazhuang is located in China's North China Plain and is the capital and political, economic and cultural center of Hebei Province. As an important node of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, the city covers a total area of about 15,800 square kilometers and has a resident population of over 11 million. With a long history, Shijiazhuang is adjacent to the revolutionary mecca of Xibaipo, and boasts cultural sites such as Zhengding Ancient City and Longxing Temple.
Modern Shijiazhuang is an important transportation hub and industrial base in China, famous for its pharmaceutical, textile and electronic information industries, and is known as the "Pharmaceutical Capital of China". The city has a high greening rate and has been awarded the National Forest City several times. Local specialties include Jinfeng Steak Chicken and Zhengding Eight Bowls, which reflect the essence of northern food culture.
