São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Shangqiu is located in the east of Henan Province, at the junction of four provinces, Henan, Shandong, Suzhou and Anhui, and is an important strategic city in the Central Plains Economic Zone. As one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Shangqiu has a civilization history of more than 5000 years, and was known as "Bo" in ancient times, which was the capital city of the early Shang Dynasty, and has the reputation of "the source of Yin Shang". It is the birthplace of ancient civilizations such as Suiren's drilling for fire and Xiongnu's stargazing, and there are many historical and cultural relics such as the Ancient City of Shangqiu, Yingtian Academy, and Suwang Mausoleum. Shangqiu is also the "Hometown of Chinese Fire Culture" and "Hometown of Chinese Calligraphy", with deep cultural heritage. Nowadays, as a transportation hub city, where the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Longhai Railway meet, Shangqiu is an important economic and cultural center in the eastern part of Henan Province, with active economic development, synergistic development of agriculture and manufacturing industry.
