São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Renqiu is located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, China, in the hinterland of the North China Plain, and is an important part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration. Renqiu is famous for its petroleum industry, with the North China Oilfield, an important petroleum production base in China, and is known as the "City of Petroleum". Renqiu has a long history and deep cultural heritage, and was the fiefdom of Renqiu, a famous general of the state of Yan during the Warring States period, from which the name of the place was derived. Part of Baiyangdian is located in Renqiu's territory, providing rich ecological tourism resources. The economy is dominated by industry, while agriculture and services are developed. Transportation is convenient, with the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and the Daguang Expressway passing through the city. With a population of about 800,000 and a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, Renqiu is one of the important economic and cultural centers of Hebei Province.
