São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the central part of China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Qingtongxia is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Wuzhong Municipality, situated in the upper reaches of the Yellow River and famous for its spectacular Qingtongxia Reservoir and canyon landscape. As an important industrial and agricultural base in Ningxia, the city focuses on energy, chemicals and agricultural product processing as its leading industries, and also boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage, such as the Qingtongxia Water Conservancy Hub Project and Xixia cultural relics. The city has an arid climate with four distinct seasons, and relies on Yellow River irrigation to develop agriculture, producing rice, wolfberries and other crops. Conveniently located near the city of Yinchuan, Qingtongxia is an important node for ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin in Ningxia.
