São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Nýřany is a small town in the western Czech state of Pilsen, about 10 kilometers west of the city of Pilsen and conveniently located near the German border. The town has a long history, with the earliest records dating back to the 13th century, with agriculture and handicrafts dominating the medieval period, and after the industrial revolution in the 19th century it developed into an important center of machine building, which has retained its traditional industrial culture to this day. Surrounded by forests and hills, Nizani has a beautiful natural environment suitable for outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, as well as well-preserved traditional architecture and museums, showing the lifestyle of the Czech Midwest. Despite its small size, Nizani is a hidden destination for exploring the Czech countryside and industrial heritage, thanks to its peaceful atmosphere and deep history.
