São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Nong'an County, located in the central part of Jilin Province in China, belongs to Changchun City, and is an important agricultural, historical and cultural county in Northeast China. Nong'an, the name of the county, implies agricultural stability. It has a long farming tradition and is known as the core area of the "Golden Corn Belt" for its abundance of crops such as corn and soybeans. Nong'an has a long history and was once the capital of the Fuyu Kingdom, with cultural relics such as the Huanglongfu Ruins of the Liao Dynasty, and a blend of Manchu, Han and other diverse cultures. The economy is based on agriculture, and in recent years it has gradually developed agricultural product processing and tourism. The transportation is convenient, about 60 kilometers from Changchun city, and the climate is temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Nong'an has become one of the important counties in Jilin Province with its deep cultural heritage and agricultural characteristics.
