São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Nanzhao County is located in the southwestern part of Henan Province, at the southern foot of Mount Funiu, belonging to Nanyang City, and is an important water source for the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. It is rich in ecological resources, with a forest coverage of 65%, and is known as "China's hometown of the Chinese razor" and "China's hometown of the sericulture", with the unique characteristics of the sea of razor flowers and sericulture silk industry. Wuduo Mountain is one of the main peaks of Mount Furniu, with strange peaks, sea of clouds and hot springs, and is a national forest park; part of Danjiang Wetland is located here, with diverse ecological landscapes. Nanzhao is one of the birthplaces of Chu culture, with ancient ruins and folk culture. Nanzhao combines natural ecology and humanistic heritage, and is a model area for ecotourism and green industry development in Southwest Henan.
