São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Nanxi, belonging to Yibin City in Sichuan Province, is located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the combined area of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou, and is known as the southern gate of the "First City on the Miles Yangtze River". The ancient city was founded in the Western Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2,200 years. The Yangtze River and the Jinsha River converge here, giving rise to a deep cultural heritage of the Yangtze River and the Three Kingdoms. Inside the city, the ancient street of Nanxi is well preserved, with green stone roads and Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings showing the flavor of southern Sichuan, making it an excellent place to experience a slow life. In recent years, relying on the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, Nanxi has vigorously developed food processing, machinery manufacturing and other industries, as well as creating cultural and tourism business cards such as the Yangtze River Ecological Park and Zhu De's former residence, making it an emerging urban area that combines history, humanity and ecological livability. With four distinct seasons and abundant produce, including the authentic flavor of Yibin Burning Noodles, as well as specialty citrus, bamboo shoots and other agricultural products, Nanxi is a bright pearl on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
