São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Nanlang Street is located in the eastern part of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China, which is an important part of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. The area is strategically located near the mouth of the Pearl River, with convenient transportation links to major cities such as Zhuhai and Guangzhou. With agriculture and industry as its leading industries, Nanlang produces rice, fruits and seafood, and has a manufacturing base in electronics and textiles.
Nanlang is also known for its rich cultural and historical resources, being the hometown of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and attractions such as Cuiheng Village attract many tourists. In recent years, the region has been actively developing eco-tourism and a green economy, focusing on environmental protection and sustainable development, making it an important node in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
