São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Naklo is a small town in northwestern Slovenia, located in the Upper Kranjska region, about 20 kilometers from the capital Ljubljana. It is situated on the banks of the Sava River, next to the Kranjska Gora mountain range, in a beautiful natural environment, and is famous for its agriculture and horticulture, known as the "horticultural center of Slovenia".
The history of Nákro dates back to the Middle Ages, with the first record dating back to 1241. The town retains historical buildings such as the Church of St. Nicholas, and is rich in traditional cultural events such as annual horticultural exhibitions and folk festivals, reflecting the character of Slovenian village life.
The economy is dominated by horticulture, agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises, with the famous Horticultural Institute in Nákro nearby. Tourism resources include attractions such as the Sava River landscape, hiking routes and the neighboring Lake Bled for nature lovers and families.
