São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Moussoro is a city in south-central Chad, located about 300 kilometers southeast of the capital city of N'Djamena, and is one of the important regional economic and transportation centers of Chad. The city is located in the savannah climate zone, agriculture is the main industry in the region, cotton, peanuts, millet and other crops are widely cultivated, animal husbandry also plays an important role. The population of Moussoro is dominated by the local Arab and Sara ethnic groups, and the culture is a blend of traditional tribal customs and Islamic characteristics, with an active market and trade, and is a distribution center for agricultural and livestock products from the surrounding area. As a nodal city linking southern Chad to the interior, Moussoro plays a key role in regional logistics and agricultural production, and is becoming increasingly strategic, although its infrastructure is still being developed.
