São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in Grant County in central Washington State, USA, Moses Lake is a major city in the Columbia Basin. The city is named after the adjacent natural lake of the same name, Moses Lake, which covers 6,800 acres of water and is the centerpiece of local recreation. Located in an arid agricultural region, the city has developed as an agricultural and industrial center on the back of the Columbia River Irrigation Project, with major industries including agro-processing, aerospace manufacturing (with a Boeing plant), and data centers.
Mossy Lick has an abundance of outdoor resources for year-round fishing, sailing and bird watching. It is strategically located about 2.5 hours from Seattle and is connected to major metropolitan areas via Interstate 90. The city is also home to Grant County International Airport (MWH), which offers cargo and flight training services. With a population of approximately 25,000, the city is known for its diverse neighborhoods and low cost of living, and is an important economic node in eastern Washington.
