São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Moli Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner (Mo Banner for short) is located in the southeastern part of Hulunbeier City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, at the eastern foot of the Daxing'anling Mountains, and is the main settlement of the Daur ethnic group. Established in 1958, Mo Banner has Daur as its main ethnic group, integrating Han Chinese, Mongolians and other multi-ethnic groups living together. It is rich in natural resources, with vast forests, grasslands and fertile farmland, and the climate is temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
Moqi is famous for its Daur culture, with traditional festivals such as the "Goodbaugh Festival" and "Hockey" being included in the national intangible cultural heritage. The economy is based on agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism, with crops such as soybeans and corn in abundance, and the development of ecotourism and ethnic culture experience programs. Conveniently connected to neighboring cities by road and rail, it is an important gateway for exploring the human and natural landscapes of northeastern Inner Mongolia.
