São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the heart of Singapore's southern Marina district, Marina Bay Singapore is the modern landmark and vibrant engine of the Garden City. It is home to the iconic Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, with its distinctive boat-shaped roof and sky gardens as the highlight of the skyline, and the neighboring Gardens by the Bay, with its "Supertree" and Flower Dome, which showcases the perfect fusion of technology and nature. The area is also home to the world's top art and science museums, the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall and the glittering Marina Bay light show, attracting tourists and business people from all over the world. As a model for Singapore's urban renewal, Marina Bay is not only an international financial and commercial center, but also an urban oasis of leisure, culture and ecology, which vividly illustrates the concept of "City in a Garden".
