São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Mariguital (Maracay) is the capital of the state of Aragua in northern Venezuela, located about 100 kilometers west of the capital, Caracas. Founded in 1701, the city is known for its rich agricultural history and military importance.
As an important industrial center in Venezuela, Mariguetal has textile, food processing and chemical industries. The city is surrounded by fertile farmland that produces sugar cane, cocoa and tobacco. The famous Henri Pitier National Park is located near the city and is known for its biodiversity.
Mariguetal's landmarks include the Military Museum and the Plaza de Toros Maestranza (Bullfighting Square). The city's climate is savannah and warm throughout the year, with an average annual temperature of around 26°C. It is easily accessible by highway and rail, connecting it to Caracas and important port cities.
Mariguital has faced economic challenges in recent years, but remains an important cultural and economic hub in central Venezuela.
