São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Madogashe is a small, quiet city in Kenya's Eastern Province, located about 150 kilometers north of Nairobi, with a gentle terrain and a savannah climate, with an average annual temperature of 22-28 degrees Celsius, which is suitable for agricultural development. The local economy is dominated by agriculture, with residents mainly planting crops such as maize, millet and beans, and raising goats and cattle in some areas, forming a typical self-sufficient rural economic model. The town retains a strong traditional Kenyan tribal culture, and regularly organizes traditional dance performances and handicraft fairs to showcase the folklore of the local Maasai and other tribes. Despite its relatively simple infrastructure, Madoaka's simplicity and undisturbed nature make it a window into rural life in the interior of Kenya, attracting a small number of travelers looking for an in-depth cultural experience.
