São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Luliang County, belonging to Yunnan Province, Qujing City, is located in the middle of the East Yunnan Plateau, is an important agricultural county in Yunnan, known as the "grain silo of East Yunnan" reputation. It has a long history and deep cultural heritage, and is the birthplace of "Cuan Culture". The Cuan Longyan Stele and Cuan Baozi Stele preserved in the territory are regarded as "treasures of the South Stele", which record the development of the ancient southwest region. The natural scenery is most famous for its colorful sand forests, unique sand pillars and sand peaks that change color in the sunlight, which is called a geological wonder. In addition, Luliang is rich in products such as ducks and honey pears, and has a strong ethnic flavor, making it an ideal place to learn about Yunnan's diverse cultures and natural charms.
