São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in Nantou County, at the foot of the Alishan Mountains, Deer Valley in Taiwan is a famous tea town and leisure resort in Taiwan. It is famous for the abundance of frozen top oolong tea, tea plantations stacked with lush greenery, cloudy and foggy, the unique climate and soil to produce a strong aroma, sweetness and lasting tea treasures. Lugu is not only one of the birthplaces of tea culture, with a hundred years of tea-making history of old tea houses and tea museums, but also sits on the natural scenic spots such as Xitou and Cedar Creek, blending the humanistic heritage with the mountain scenery. During the spring tea-picking season every year, visitors can experience the fun of tea-picking and tea-making, stroll along the tea field trails, and feel the leisurely mood of "Tea Scented Deer Valley", which is an excellent place for tea-tasting, health preservation and eco-tourism.
