Overview of Sao Tome and Principe (note on "Java")

São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.

Belize: Central America's Natural and Cultural Heritage Country

Belize is a Commonwealth member country located in Central America, bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the east, Mexico to the north and Guatemala to the south. Despite the name "God's Bank", Belize is actually known for its rich natural ecology and multiculturalism rather than being a financial entity. Its capital is Belmopan, the official language is English and the currency is the Belize Dollar. The country has the second largest barrier reef system in the world, a paradise for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, and also preserves a large number of ruins of the Mayan civilization, such as the ruins of Caracol and Alton. The economy is based on agriculture (sugar cane, citrus), tourism and light industry, and the tropical climate, with an average annual temperature of around 29°C, has earned it the nickname "Land of Peace and Rain". Belize is an emerging tourist destination in Central America with its unique natural landscape and friendly cultural atmosphere.
