São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Longzhou County, Guangxi is located in the southwest of Chongzuo City, bordering with Vietnam, is an important border county of China facing ASEAN, known as the "border town", "southern border gate". The Zuojiang River passes through the city, giving this small town a unique landscape aura. As an old revolutionary area, Longzhou is the place where Deng Xiaoping, Yu Zuoyu and other proletarian revolutionaries of the old generation led the Longzhou Uprising, and the former site of the military headquarters of the Red Army of the Eighth Army, the Longzhou Uprising Memorial Hall and other red relics tell the story of the great years and have become an important base of patriotism education. There is not only a strong Zhuang ethnic flavor, Tianqin art and other non-heritage culture unique charm, but also a blend of cultural characteristics of the Sino-Vietnamese border, border trade is booming, and the food is tempting, such as Longzhou rolled noodles, lemon duck and so on make people have a good memory. Longzhou combines natural scenery, red memories and border flavors, making it a unique destination for exploring the history of the border and experiencing diverse cultures.
