São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the eastern part of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, Longquanyi is an important part of the downtown area of Chengdu, famous for its long history of peach blossom culture and modern agriculture. With a total area of about 556 square kilometers and a population of more than one million, the region's economy is dominated by automobile manufacturing, electronic information, and fruit cultivation, and it has a national-level economic and technological development zone.
Longquanyi has a long history and has been a stagecoach hub since the Tang Dynasty, with cultural sites such as the Mausoleum of the King of Shu in Ming Dynasty. The Peach Blossom Festival attracts a large number of tourists every spring, and the peach industry is famous nationwide. Convenient transportation, metro line 2 directly to the center of Chengdu, Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway, Chengdu Bypass Expressway throughout the territory, is the key node of the Chengdu-Chongqing region of the twin-city economic circle.
