São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Andorra Massana (Sant Julià de Lòria) is one of the seven parishes of the Principality of Andorra, not an independent country. It is located in the south of Andorra, on the border with Spain, and covers an area of about 61 square kilometers, with a population of about 9,000, making it one of the less populated parishes in Andorra. Massana is known for its natural beauty and ski resorts, with excellent winter sports facilities, which attract many tourists.
The region's economy is based on tourism and commerce, and with the University of Andorra, it is an important educational and cultural center. Massana is steeped in history and retains monuments such as Romanesque churches, while incorporating modern developments that offer shopping and outdoor experiences.
Overall, Andorra Massana is a unique blend of nature, history and tourism for exploring Andorran culture and relaxing vacations.
