São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Gorica is a city in southeastern Albania, part of the Korça prefecture, near the Greek border, with a population of about 12,000 people. It is situated on the banks of the Dvor River, surrounded by hills and farmland, and enjoys a mild climate, with agriculture and animal husbandry as the mainstay of its economy. The city has a long history, dating back to the Ottoman period, and retains its traditional architecture and cultural heritage.
Gorica is located in the lowlands of southeastern Albania at an altitude of about 190 meters above sea level, about 170 kilometers from the capital city of Tirana. It has a Mediterranean climate with dry, hot summers and mild, rainy winters, suitable for olives, grapes and other crops. The surrounding nature is beautiful and is a gateway to explore the Albanian countryside and border areas.
Gorica's economy is based on agriculture, producing cereals, fruits and dairy products, and handicrafts such as weaving and pottery are also well developed. The city's culture is a blend of Albanian and Greek influences, with an Ottoman-era mosque and traditional festivals. The local population is known for its hospitality, making it an ideal place to experience traditional Albanian life.
