São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Koh Lipe in Thailand is located in Satun Province, southern Thailand, on the shores of the Andaman Sea, neighboring Malaysia, and is the "Pearl of the Andaman Sea". The island is known for its soft white sand beaches, clear blue waters and pristine natural atmosphere, with popular shorelines such as Padang Beach and Sunset Beach for sunbathing, swimming and water sports. The neighboring dive sites such as Mak Island National Park are rich in coral reefs, where you can encounter clown fish, turtles and other marine life, making it an ideal destination for diving enthusiasts. The island's commercial street is a blend of Thai and Malay styles, with seafood restaurants and bars in a relaxed atmosphere. Rebel Island is far away from the hustle and bustle, suitable for tourists seeking a quiet vacation, couples on a romantic trip or parent-child travel, year-round warm climate, is one of the popular islands in Southeast Asia.
