São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the eastern part of Phuket, Thailand, Koh Rang Yai is a tranquil jewel in the Andaman Sea that attracts travelers seeking serenity with its pristine natural beauty and laid-back atmosphere. The crystal clear waters surrounding the island, with its fine white sand beaches and colorful coral reefs, are ideal for snorkeling and diving, and for seeing tropical fish and marine life up close. The island's lush tropical vegetation remains untouched and untouched, making it ideal for exploring on foot or sunbathing under coconut palms by the sea. Fresh seafood and traditional Thai cuisine are the local specialties, and the simple fishing village atmosphere allows visitors to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience a slower pace of island life. Whether it's a family vacation or a couple's honeymoon, Koh Lantaing offers an unforgettable journey of deep conversation with nature.
