São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Khanabad is the capital of Logar Province of Afghanistan, located in the east of the country, about 60 kilometers south of Kabul, on the main transportation route from Kabul to Kandahar, which makes it a strategically important location. As the economic and administrative center of Logar Province, the area is dominated by agriculture and produces fruits such as pomegranates, grapes and apricots, making it one of the most important suppliers of agricultural products around Kabul. Despite its history of conflict, Khanabad has gradually regained stability in recent years, with improved infrastructure and livelihood services, and is an important hub connecting the eastern and southern regions of Afghanistan. The city is surrounded by mountains and valleys, with agriculture relying on the Kandahar River for irrigation, and the local population is predominantly Pashtun, retaining traditional agricultural and cultural practices.
