São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Jiyang, located in the northern part of Jinan City, Shandong Province, China, is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Jinan City, situated in the lower alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with a total area of about 1,076 square kilometers. The area has a long history and deep cultural heritage, with agriculture and modern industry as its main economic pillars, and in recent years has been actively developing industries such as food processing and machinery manufacturing. Jiyang is conveniently located close to Jinan Yaowan International Airport and Jinan Northern Bypass Highway.
Jiyang is rich in natural landscapes and human resources, with attractions such as the Yellow River Scenic Area and Chengbo Lake drawing tourists, and is also famous for its specialty agricultural products such as "Jiyang Melon and Vegetables". As the core area of Jinan's "Rise to the North" strategy, Jiyang is accelerating its integration into the provincial capital's economic circle and promoting the integrated development of urban and rural areas, making it a city with both traditional charm and modern vitality.
