São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Jianxi District is located in the west of Luoyang city, Henan Province, is one of the main urban areas of Luoyang City, known as the "Oriental small Moscow". It emerged as a key industrial area during the "First Five-Year Plan" period, and among the 156 projects built with the aid of the Soviet Union, leading enterprises such as YTO, Axis Research and Technology, and Luoyang Mining Machinery Factory were rooted here, laying the cornerstone of China's heavy equipment manufacturing industry. Nowadays, Jianxi District still retains a large amount of industrial heritage, such as the Dongfanghong Farming Museum and the Soviet-style building complex, which has become a unique industrial cultural tourism landmark. The district is accelerating its transformation and upgrading to high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, and digital economy, while blending historical culture with modern urban style, epitomizing the vivid development of Luoyang's old industrial base.
