São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Jiangyou City is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province in China, a county-level city under the administration of Mianyang City, situated in the transition zone between the Chengdu Plain and the Qinling Mountains, and named after the Fuling River that runs through its entire territory. As the hometown of the poet Li Bai, Jiangyou has a deep cultural heritage, with attractions such as the Li Bai Memorial Hall and the Taibai Monument Forest attracting many tourists. It is also an important defense industry and energy base in China, and its economy is dominated by industry, agriculture and tourism. The natural scenery is beautiful, and scenic spots such as Dou Mountain and Guanwu Mountain are famous for their steep mountains and Buddhist culture. Jiangyou has convenient transportation, with the Baocheng Railway, Xicheng High-speed Railway and Jingkun High-speed Railway running through its territory, connecting it to Chengdu, Xi'an and other big cities. Specialties such as Jiangyou Fatty Intestine and Cold Dipping are very popular, showing the unique food culture of northern Sichuan.
