São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Huanggang is located in the eastern part of Hubei Province, on the north bank of the middle reaches of Yangtze River, connected with the provincial capital Wuhan by mountains and waters, and is an important regional center city in the eastern part of Hubei Province. It has been known as "the hometown of education" since ancient times, and is the hometown of Su Dongpo, the literary hero of the Northern Song Dynasty, who wrote "Red Cliff as a memorial", Bi Sheng, the inventor of movable-type printing, and Li Shizhen, the medicine expert of the Ming Dynasty, with deep historical and cultural backgrounds. Within its territory, Tiantangzhai, the main peak of Dabie Mountain, is magnificent and steep, Yingshan Hot Spring is rich in minerals, and Huangzhou Red Cliff (Dongpo Red Cliff) carries a thousand years of cultural lineage. As an old revolutionary area, Huanggang has a deep red culture, modern agriculture and ecological tourism, and is a charming city with both humanistic heritage and natural scenery.
