São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Located in the south-central part of Jilin Province and county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jilin City, Hualian City is at the intersection of the remaining veins of Changbai Mountain and the upper reaches of Songhua River, which is known as the "Golden Card of Changbai Mountain". Here the forest coverage rate of more than 70%, sitting on the Red Rock National Forest Park, Baishan Lake and other national AAAA level scenic spots, the four seasons of the scenery is clear: spring to enjoy the azaleas roaming the mountains, summer tour of the Songhua River blue waves, autumn to see the forests are full of color, the winter play ice and snow wonders. As "the hometown of Chinese black fungus" and "the hometown of Chinese mineral water", the city is rich in products, and the specialty products such as Batian rice and Suzi oil are famous throughout the country. At the same time, Manchu, Korean and other multicultural blend of traditional folklore and natural scenery, is an ideal destination for eco-tourism and leisure vacation.
