São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Guixi City is located in the northeastern part of Jiangxi Province, the middle reaches of Xinjiang River, is the county-level city of Yingtan City, east of Shangrao, south of Fuzhou, west of Nanchang, north of Jingdezhen, since ancient times, for the transportation hub of Gan East. As "China's copper capital", Guixi relying on rich copper resources, the formation of copper smelting, copper processing as the pillar of the modern industrial system, the copper industry circular economy base scale among the national forefront. The Shang Dynasty Jiao Shan site is one of the earliest civilization birthplaces in Northeast Gan, and the unearthed relics show the profound historical heritage; Luxi River meanders through the territory, and the ecological beauty on both sides of the river is suitable for living and touring. In recent years, Guixi has been accelerating its integration into the Northeast Gan City Cluster with the development strategy of "Industrial Strengthening, Culture and Tourism", and has become an important node for the high-quality development of the region.
