São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southeastern part of Qinghai Province, in the hinterland of the Tibetan Plateau, and is one of the important sources of the three major rivers, namely the Yellow River, Yangtze River and Lancang River, which is regarded as the core area of the "Chinese Water Tower". Here the average altitude of 4200 meters above sea level, with the Animaqing Mountain, Nianbao Yuzhe and other sacred mountains and sacred realms, as well as scattered plateau lakes and wetlands, ecological status is important. As the main birthplace of Gesar culture, Golog has circulated countless legends of the world's longest heroic epic "King Gesar", with strong Tibetan flavor and well-preserved traditional songs, dances, costumes and festival culture. There are also famous Tibetan Buddhist temples in the territory, such as Laga Temple and Baiyu Temple, with a profound religious culture. With its primitive and magnificent natural scenery and unique Gesar culture, Golog has become a bright ecological and cultural pearl on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
